Lori E. Karas, Recognized By Influential Women, Helps Leaders Connect Strategy To Organizational Performance

MIDDLETON, MA, UNITED STATES, October 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Founder and CEO of Karas Executive Services, LLC Brings More Than 25 Years of Executive Leadership Experience to the Challenges of Organizational Alignment, Executive Judgment, and Execution

MIDDLETON, Massachusetts — Lori E. Karas, Founder and CEO of Karas Executive Services, LLC, is an executive advisor who helps organizations strengthen the connection between strategy, organizational design, executive decision-making, and performance. Drawing on more than 25 years of executive leadership experience across eight industries, Karas brings an enterprise perspective to the challenges CEOs, boards, and leadership teams face in translating strategic intent into organizational results.

Founded in 2026, Karas Executive Services, LLC provides executive advisory services to CEOs, boards, and leadership teams navigating complex organizational challenges. The firm’s work focuses on strategic alignment, organizational design, executive decision-making, and the conditions required to achieve intended results.

Alongside its advisory services, Karas Executive Services, LLC owns a distinct body of proprietary frameworks and methodologies addressing organizational alignment, executive judgment, and enterprise performance. This body of work includes The Alignment Gap™, Full Circumference Thinking™, and Executive Judgment™. These frameworks examine how individually reasonable decisions can collectively move an organization away from its intended outcomes.

Karas’s thought leadership explores the relationships among assumptions, organizational design, decisions, and execution. Her published work raises a fundamental question for leaders: what conditions must be in place for an organization to achieve the results it intends? Through her frameworks, writing, and executive briefings, she brings attention to the organizational dynamics that can separate strategic intent from actual performance.

Karas brings executive experience spanning the public and private sectors, including healthcare, financial services, senior living, higher education, and government. Her roles have included Market CEO, executive leadership responsibilities equivalent to those of a chief operating officer, and Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Her Deputy Assistant Secretary role was the public-sector equivalent of a COO, with responsibility for executive-level operations and organizational performance. Across these roles, she led operational modernization, financial management, workforce strategy, and enterprise-wide process improvement. Her results included increased revenue and profitability and reduced expenses where appropriate.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Suffolk University, where she majored in Marketing.

Her podcast, The Alignment Gap: Built for Performance, features executive briefings on organizational alignment, executive judgment, and the connection between strategic intent and enterprise results. Together with her published writing and other executive briefings, the podcast extends the reach of Karas Executive Services, LLC’s thought leadership.

Karas attributes her professional development to grit, conviction, and a willingness to keep learning. She has deliberately moved across industries and roles to expand her perspective, treating each new experience as an opportunity to test and strengthen her capabilities. One influential example came from observing Madeleine Albright navigate male-dominated government. The lesson Karas took from that experience was the importance of conviction and self-belief, particularly when others may question or discourage one’s ambitions.

Her advice to young women entering consulting and other professional fields is to watch, listen, and learn. Credibility develops through careful observation, thoughtful questions, exploration, and the willingness to test one’s skills over time—not through an expectation of overnight success.

As a business owner, Karas is building visibility and credibility in an environment increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence and digital communication. She believes sound judgment is essential to evaluating opportunities, distinguishing credible information from misleading claims, and using technology thoughtfully.

Beyond her professional work, Karas values kindness, openness to different points of view, and the distinction between simply hearing someone and genuinely listening. Family and community remain central to her life, and she strives to leave every organization and community better than she found it.

A Past District Governor of Rotary International, Karas has supported leadership development, grant initiatives, and local and global community-service projects. She has also served on the boards of the American Red Cross and Boston by Foot and supports youth leadership through the NAFBF Board of Advisors.
